Scotland plays France on Sunday at Murrayfield. There are small signs of optimism that they might not be entirely overmatched this year, which suggests that a galling (Gauling?) thrashing awaits. Fingers crossed, at any rate.
In the meantime, Wales go to Twickenham to try and beat the odds, and Ireland are taking pep pills to look suitably convincing in a (hoped for) win over Italy.
