In all the excitement of a typical Sunday at Casa DC Trojan (running errands and taking children to the park), I completely forgot about the Gold Cup Final between the US and Mexico, played at Soldier Field in Chicago. Apparently I missed a genuinely good game with a real cracker of a goal from Benny Feilhaber:
I usually have a hard time getting into “USA! USA! USA!” support mode, but I know how mental it drives the Mexican supporters to see the US beat them, and I am cruel enough to enjoy that.
